We opened our doors in early 2015 with a clear vision. That vision? To use data and technology to help our clients build better, faster and smarter.
Now, in our eight year, some of the biggest and most ambitious companies on the planet trust us with their most complex, challenging and business-critical projects – whether they’re building new offices, homes, healthcare facilities or cultural hotspots.
Meet the team
Anthony has over 21 years’ experience in the construction industry having spent a number of years in a leading Irish practice before moving to Page Kirkland in Sydney for 6 years. Anthony returned to Davis Langdon in 2007 where he spent 8 years becoming Director and Head of Cost Management for Ireland in 2010.
Anthony has extensive experience in private and public projects across all sectors.
He is currently leading some of the largest data centre projects in the country.
Anthony is a Director and co-founder of the business.
Paul is a Director and co-founder of the business. His career has spanned almost 25 years, most of which was spent at Davis Langdon with two of those years spent in San Francisco. Shortly after Davis Langdon was acquired in 2010, Paul became Head of Ireland for Cost and Project Management in Ireland whilst also sitting on the UK / Ireland Board.
Paul has a wide range of experience in the Public and Private sector including a number of specialisms most notably in Financial Modelling of development projects and in construction law, holding a postgraduate qualification from Trinity College.
Paul plays an active role in the Society of Chartered Surveyors and is currently the Chair of the Residential committee.
Ronan is a Director in the business and was appointed Head of Project Management in November 2021.
Ronan joined Mitchell McDermott in 2017, and quickly became a driving force in our Project Management service line as a Divisional Director. Over the course of his diverse 18 year career, Ronan, who is from an engineering background, has worked on client, contractor and consultancy side.
He has valuable experience working across all sectors, and comprehensive skills from preparing the intial brief and assembling teams, to delivering complex multi-faceted projects including the planning process, design, procurement, construction stage and through to in-use.
Fergal’s career has spanned over 20 years starting out with a prominent Irish contractor in 1999 as a junior QS and worked his way up to Senior QS level he then joined a midlands firm as their Senior QS.
Fergal spent from 6 years in Brisbane working as a senior estimator for a national contractor and gained valuable experience in Design & Build Construction. Fergal returned to Ireland in early 2016 and took up a role as Associate with Mitchell McDermott and works predominantly on residential and commercial projects.
Fergal is a Divisional Director in the business.
Rory, an Associate with the business, leads the Funder Advisory Services division at Mitchell McDermott. His experience lies in client-side due diligence and funder liaison gained through working in commercial, mixed use and residential Construction. His early involvement in the construction industry involved a hands-on approach in the construction of high specification individual homes as an owner/developer.
Rory carries this approach through to his current role offering a common-sense approach, supported by technical knowledge and a commitment to service excellence.
Prior to joining Mitchell McDermott, he was part of a respected cost consultancy in Auckland.
Paul is an Associate in Mitchell McDermott and has 8+ years of experience working in the construction industry delivering Project Management services to clients.
Paul started his career in a large multi-disciplinary consultancy in the UK as a graduate project manager working his way to a senior level role before moving back to Ireland. He worked for 5 years in London gaining a knowledge of delivering all stages of projects from inception to completion. Paul has a wide range of experience in the Public and Private sector.
Paul specialises in contract administration during construction stages and is currently working on hotel, residential and retail type projects in the Irish market.
Dean is an Associate in Mitchell McDermott and has 8+ years of experience working in the construction industry delivering Cost Management services to clients.
Dean has been responsible for the Cost Management of large scale offices, residential, hotels, car showrooms, student accommodation and nursing home projects in recent years in Irish Construction industry.
Prior to joining Mitchell McDermott in 2015, Dean was a Cost Manager with a large firm in Dublin. During this time, Dean was responsible for project delivery from inception to final account.
Alan is an Associate in Mitchell McDermott and has 21 years of experience working in the construction industry delivering cost management and traditional QS services to a wide range of clients across the construction industry.
Alan started his career in a Project Management & Quantity Surveying business in Dublin and completed a post graduate diploma in project management in 2002. Alan has a wide range of experience in the pharmaceutical, industrial, leisure and residential sectors. Alan then spent 9 years working for in Retail in a consultancy working on a number of the leading retailers in Ireland and UK.
Alan is currently working on Apart-hotel and Student Accommodation type projects in the Irish market.
Adrian is an Associate in the Project Management Department of Mitchell McDermott and has been working in the Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork markets for the past 10 years.
Adrian started his career working for a builder / developer in the West of Ireland and then joined a multi-national consultancy practice in Dublin in 2011 before joining Mitchell McDermott in 2015. Adrian predominantly works on residential, hospitality, retail and commercial projects and has delivered large and small projects for both local and multinational clients. Adrian has also delivered numerous projects through the Strategic Housing Development (SHD) fast track planning process.
Adrian is actively involved in the CIOB and is the current chair of the CIOB Novus Dublin Hub.
Conor is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and an Associate in Mitchell McDermott with his career spanning over 10 years in the construction industry delivering cost management services to clients.
Conor started his career in a small QS practice as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor before moving to the middle east to work with an Irish contractor specialising in major energy projects. Conor returned to Ireland in 2013 to join a large QS practice before joining Mitchell McDermott in 2015.
While working across various sectors such as hospitality, retail, commercial and student accommodation, Conor currently specialises in residential & data centre projects and is currently working on multiple large schemes around Dublin.
Eoin is an Associate in the business and is currently involved in residential, office and PBSA schemes. He brings over 12 years’ experience which stretch across multiple regions including, Ireland, UK and Middle East.
After spending a number of years in London with Davis Langdon (now AECOM), he moved to Abu Dhabi where he worked for two international cost consultancies. Eoin joined Mitchell McDermott in 2021.
Eoin’s experience covers multiple sectors, from one-off projects to large urban regeneration schemes. Eoin’s added responsibilities in Mitchell McDermott include construction inflation monitoring and growing our work portfolio in the Munster region.
Patrick is an Associate in Mitchell McDermott. He has over 9 years experience in client-side consultancy in the construction industry. Patrick started his career in London working on a range of large scale private and public sector projects.
Patrick has gained valuable experience with a number of high-profile clients on major data centre, commercial, residential and masterplanning projects throughout Dublin, London and the rest of the UK.
Patrick has a focus on driving value for the client through collaboration and efficient and cost-effective design solutions.
Lisa is an Associate in the business and has over 12 years’ experience in the construction industry delivering Project Management services. Lisa joined Mitchell McDermott in 2019 and quickly became an integral part of our project management team.
Lisa has extensive experience across a wide range of sectors in the construction both in Ireland and Australia, including the Data Centres, Infrastructure, Logistics, Commercial Fit Out, Aviation, Hospitality, and Residential sectors. A skilled and dedicated project manager and chartered member of Engineers Ireland, Lisa has a proven track record of delivering projects from inception to in-use and managing high performing teams.
